The School

We are a school with a family atmosphere that trains drivers of different categories since 1991, in Ponta Delgada with headquarters in Santa Clara, namely, Motorcycles (Category A), Light Vehicles (Category B), Heavy Goods/Truck (Category C) and Heavy Passenger/Bus (Category D).

More specifically, in this last category, our school was the first in the Azores to train these drivers.

Since the opening of the school, we have excelled in teaching responsibly and efficiently, creating safe, aware and prepared drivers. Our School promotes an environment of trust and complicity between instructors and students, where we are grateful for teaching and answering questions. In particular, our training offer includes unlimited theoretical classes, theory clarification sessions every week which we call “Exam Simulation”, where we study together the student’s preparation for the Code Exam, Mechanics classes or the Exam of 10 Motorcycles questions, thus providing a personalized service focused on the trainees’ needs.

In practical lessons, we give lessons lasting at least 1 hour so that the student has time to: assimilate the material given; know the vehicle; as well as traveling long distances; adapt to the unpredictability of the road; knowing how to use the means of transport on different types of roads; that is, narrow and wide paths; transit in parallel lines; all types of roundabouts; become familiar with the profusion of vertical and horizontal signs, with the expressways and their methodology for the acceleration and deceleration lanes; learn maneuvers.

In addition, we train future civic and responsible drivers in order to always promote defensive driving.
